“What is Hope?” they ask.
Hope is light at the end of the tunnel. Hope is the realization of knowing that when one door closes, another one opens for us.
At a time when uncertainty is at its peak and we don’t know what future lies ahead of us, there is one thing that keeps us going. And that thing is Hope. There are days when things go out of control and you can’t comprehend anything around you, on those days, Hope gives you Power. It is that force that lets one manifest his inner strengths and challenge his own limitations. It leads to a transformation, a human revolution and once you devote yourself to your human revolution, you can only wait for miracles to unfold in front of your eyes. It results in a chain reaction, you being hopeful and compassionate, understanding and determined will encourage those around you to feel the same. Optimism will multiply and that will lead everyone to take actions towards achieving their dreams. It is important to believe in the power of YOU, that you can change the world around you & even when times are tough and you cannot feel hopeful, you must create hope. Even a tiny ray of hope can make all the difference.
Lastly, I would like to conclude by quoting Josei Toda,
‘Real hope is found in committing ourselves to vast goals and dreams — dreams such as a world without war and violence, a world where everyone can live with dignity. Sometimes, it may be hard to see where — or how — to begin. But we cannot let ourselves be paralysed by despair. We must each take action towards the goals we have set and in which we believe.’
