AISHWARYA SASTRY

Well, when one thinks of memories of her, it seems almost unfair to call them that. Pooja’s memory is all my life; cherished, beautiful moments, which were very much present only sometime back. The most harmless, kind lady with a zeal to achieve and do so much, and never at the cost of anyone or anything. Clear of her ideas and what was right for her, she paved new paths that most of us never thought possible. “Mera Hansraj ho gaya!” “Mera XIC ho gaya”. I don’t know why she would call me her most sorted sister, when she always seemed more clear of her ideas and thoughts. I remember pulling her leg with the other cousins on family gatherings when she would take ages to eat or get ready..”Pooja, jaldi kar yaar”. But she would never mind and take the jokes to heart. Wouldn’t hesitate to shower her compliments or give warm hugs to every person. I remember us having gone for most family functions, where she would tell me, “Chal yaar, mil lete hai, aise accha nahi lagta”. I would hesitate at times, she wouldn’t. She managed to make her bond with everyone. She taught us so much at such a young age. I haven’t seen someone with the courage she had and one who held her home and family so so dear to her. We will only try to do our best to live up to what our angel believed in. She taught us how to be kind and love. Miss you Pooja <3
